 The Rating System

treasure-blue.png

Treasure

A film that hits all the points; cinematography, acting, directing, sound, and entertainment value. Something you will treasure forever.

Gem

A film that can be appreciated time-and-time-again. Something that brings entertainment and all audiences can enjoy.

Shelve

A film that belongs on the shelf; you take it out every once in a while to watch, but not something you’re returning to any time soon.

trash-blue.png

Trash

A film that is exactly what this ranking is: trash. Trash films have poor scripts, acting, directing, but can maintain some semblance of entertainment.

Dumpster Fire

A film that is the worst-of-the-worst. There is nothing redeemable about a dumpster fire, and it shouldn’t see that light of day.
